The ‘Composition, Rules & Regulations and Policies’ of Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), GIPS mentioned herein, shall come into effect from 20.06.2012 and shall remain in force until further notification. The contents mentioned herein, either in full or part, are liable to be altered by the College Authority at any time, by due notification.

The Industry-Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) of the college is a dedicated cell to promote the close interaction of industry and various departments of the institute. The IIP Cell facilitates consultancy, sponsored R&D projects and industrial and academic training that are not prescribed in the syllabus in addition to conducting industrial training and interaction meets.
The initial focus of this cell was to closely interact with industries situated in and around Guwahati and later expand the efforts to move the partnership and activities across Assam and throughout the country. Industries and Technical institutions have a strong mutuality of interest which forms the basis of a partnership between them. This cell will enable the people and industries, in particular, to know about the facilities for training, testing and research activities in the college’s departments. Further, it will ensure proper and fruitful interactions with industries and keep students with modern advancements in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Azara, Guwahati has set up an Industry Institute Partnership Cell for the above purpose. Industries and Technical institutions have a strong mutuality of interest which forms the basis of a partnership between them. The institute has set up an industry-institute partnership cell with the following objectives:
