Northeastern Regions of India (NER-I) is famous for its biodiversity in flora and fauna. There are numerous medicinal plants which are grown in the NER with potential therapeutic activity. GIPS-G has established a reputed Natural products lab which aims to conduct research in phytochemicals and nutraceuticals. The laboratory is well equipped with various basic and sophisticated Instruments required to excel the R&D activities in Natural products. Some of the Sophisticated Instruments which are present in the natural product laboratory of the institute are:
